Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy

All items produced by We Make T-Shirts are custom manufactured to order. Because each product is printed or embroidered specifically for the customer and cannot be resold, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges on custom apparel.

Customers are responsible for ensuring all uploaded artwork, spelling, colors, garment selections, sizes, quantities, and other order details submitted at checkout are accurate. Any artwork proof or mockup provided by We Make T-Shirts is intended as a view-only representation of the overall design and print concept. Final artwork may be adjusted as needed for production purposes including print quality, background removal, image enhancement, sizing adjustments, and production optimization. Placement and sizing are completed according to standard industry guidelines unless specific placement instructions are provided by the customer in the checkout notes at the time of purchase.

We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. If an error occurs due to a mistake on our part — including print defects, embroidery defects, or production that does not match the approved order details — customers must notify us within 7 days of receiving the order. We will evaluate the issue and, if the error is determined to be our responsibility, we will make every reasonable effort to correct the problem. Remedies may include reprinting, replacement of affected items, or another fair resolution at our discretion.

Please note that placement expectations or preferences are not considered production errors. Unless otherwise specified at the time of ordering, all artwork is placed according to standard industry practices. Customers requesting specific placement instructions should include detailed notes during checkout.

Normal variations inherent to the custom printing and embroidery process are not considered defects. This includes slight color variations, minor placement shifts, sizing tolerances, differences between digital mockups and physical garments, and garment manufacturer variances outside of our control.

We are not responsible for issues resulting from incorrect information provided by the customer, including artwork files, sizing selections, spelling errors, or other order details submitted during checkout.

Our goal is to produce high-quality custom apparel and ensure customer satisfaction. While custom orders are considered final sale, we are committed to handling legitimate production issues professionally and fairly.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy

All products produced by We Make T-Shirts are custom manufactured specifically for each customer. Because each item is printed or embroidered to order and generally cannot be resold, all custom apparel sales are final.

We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges based on sizing selections, customer-provided artwork, design preferences, color preferences, garment selections, or other customer-selected options.

This policy does not affect remedies that may be required under applicable law.

Order Cancellations & Changes

Customers should contact We Make T-Shirts immediately if they need to request a cancellation or modification.

Because production preparation may begin shortly after an order is received, cancellations and changes are not guaranteed.

If a cancellation is approved, a 20% restocking fee will apply.

Once production has progressed to a point where cancellation is no longer reasonably possible, We Make T-Shirts may decline the cancellation request.

Production preparation may include artwork processing or enhancement, garment ordering or allocation, production scheduling, transfer printing, screen preparation, embroidery setup, production setup, or manufacturing.

Changes requested after production preparation has begun may be declined or may result in additional charges.

Customer-Provided Artwork & Order Information

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the information submitted with their order is accurate, including:

  • Artwork and logos
  • Spelling and wording
  • Names, numbers, phone numbers, websites, and dates
  • Design content and colors
  • Garment styles and colors
  • Garment sizes
  • Quantities
  • Print locations
  • Shipping information
  • Special instructions

Customers are also responsible for the creative and branding decisions contained within the artwork they provide.

We Make T-Shirts is not responsible for customer-submitted errors, unwanted design elements, incorrect information, or subjective design choices contained in customer-provided artwork unless we specifically agree to correct or modify those elements.

Artwork Preparation & Enhancement

Every order is professionally reviewed before production.

Depending on the artwork provided, our artwork team may perform production-related preparation including background removal, image cleanup, edge cleanup, straightening, resolution enhancement, sizing adjustments, color optimization for printing, and other adjustments necessary to prepare the artwork for production.

Artwork enhancement is not a logo redesign, branding service, or custom graphic-design service.

Unless specifically requested by the customer and agreed to by We Make T-Shirts, artwork enhancement does not include redesigning a logo, choosing different brand colors, changing colors based on subjective preference, rewriting text, replacing design elements, creating a new logo, changing the customer's branding, or making subjective creative decisions on the customer's behalf.

Our goal is to preserve the customer's submitted design while professionally preparing it for printing.

Online Designer & FYI Production Artwork Preview

The garment preview displayed in our online designer shows the customer's original uploaded artwork and is intended as an approximate representation of the design and placement.

It may still display backgrounds, rough edges, low-resolution elements, or other characteristics that our artwork team subsequently prepares for production.

After artwork preparation, customers are sent an FYI preview of the final production artwork that will actually be used to produce the order.

The FYI production artwork preview is not a new garment mockup and is not an approval request.

Unless We Make T-Shirts specifically states in writing that approval is required, no approval is required and the order will automatically continue into production.

Customers should review the FYI production artwork preview promptly and contact us immediately if they notice an error.

Failure to open, review, or respond to the FYI preview does not automatically stop or delay production and does not, by itself, create a right to cancellation, refund, exchange, or reprint.

Print Size & Placement

Unless a specific print dimension has been requested by the customer and expressly accepted by We Make T-Shirts before production, artwork is produced according to our standard production sizing.

Full Front / Full Back: Approximately 11 inches wide, with a typical height of approximately 12–14 inches, depending on the shape and proportions of the artwork.

Left Chest / Right Chest: Approximately 3.5–4.25 inches wide, depending on the shape and proportions of the artwork.

Artwork is generally printed at the same size throughout an order rather than being individually resized for every garment size. Artwork may be reduced when necessary to properly fit smaller garments, youth garments, pockets, specialty garments, or other limited print areas.

Placement is completed according to our professional standard placement based on the garment, artwork proportions, decoration method, and available print area.

Customers requiring a specific print dimension or placement measurement must provide those instructions when placing the order.

Uncommunicated placement or sizing preferences are not considered production errors.

Color Differences

Colors displayed on phones, computers, tablets, and other digital screens can differ from physical printed colors due to screen settings, brightness, garment color and material, printing method, ink characteristics, lighting, and differences between digital displays and physical production.

Unless a specific color-matching standard has been requested and expressly accepted before production, digital colors should not be considered guaranteed exact physical color matches.

Reasonable color variation inherent to the printing, embroidery, or garment-manufacturing process is not considered a production defect.

Production Errors

We Make T-Shirts stands behind the quality of our workmanship.

If you believe an order contains a production error attributable to We Make T-Shirts, please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order and provide photographs and any other information reasonably necessary for us to evaluate the issue.

A production error generally means that the finished product materially differs from the applicable order information or final production artwork because of an error attributable to We Make T-Shirts.

Examples may include an incorrect garment, incorrect print location, printing or embroidery defect, or another material manufacturing error attributable to We Make T-Shirts.

The following do not, by themselves, constitute production errors:

  • Buyer's remorse
  • Preference for a different design
  • Preference for a different color or shade
  • Preference for a different print size or placement
  • Customer-selected sizing or garment issues
  • Customer-submitted spelling or information errors
  • Dissatisfaction with a design element contained in customer-provided artwork
  • A desire to revise or change artwork after production
  • Normal manufacturing tolerances

If We Make T-Shirts confirms a production error, we will determine an appropriate remedy based on the circumstances. Remedies may include repair, replacement, reprinting, store credit, partial refund, or refund of the affected portion of the order.

Except where otherwise required by law, any remedy will generally be limited to the affected portion of the order.

Normal Production Variations

Custom printing and embroidery involve normal manufacturing tolerances.

Reasonable variations may include:

  • Minor print-placement differences
  • Minor print-size differences
  • Reasonable color variation
  • Ink texture variation
  • Embroidery placement or thread variation
  • Garment sizing and construction variation
  • Batch-to-batch garment color differences
  • Differences between digital displays and physical products

Normal variations inherent to custom apparel manufacturing are not considered defects.

Garment Sizing

Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate garment styles and sizes.

Sizing and fit can vary between manufacturers, garment styles, fabric blends, colors, production runs, and garment types. Product images and garment previews are not guarantees of exact fit or dimensions.

Customers should review available sizing information before ordering.

Fit preferences, normal shrinkage, manufacturer tolerances, and customer-selected sizing errors do not qualify for returns, exchanges, refunds, or reprints.

Shipping Issues

If an order is lost, damaged, delayed, misdelivered, or otherwise affected while in transit, please contact us so we can review the situation and, where appropriate, assist with the carrier.

Carrier delays and other circumstances outside the reasonable control of We Make T-Shirts do not, by themselves, constitute production errors.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information and a reasonably secure delivery location.

Questions or Problems With Your Order

If you believe there is a problem with your order, please contact us promptly and provide your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs when applicable.

Our goal is to produce high-quality custom apparel and address legitimate production issues professionally and fairly.
